CLOT Celebrates 20 Years of McDonald's With an All-New Capsule

We’re lovin’ it.

Chinese retailer CLOT just revealed its official collaboration with McDonald’s, celebrating the fast food institution’s 20th anniversary.

In honor of the milestone, CLOT has worked alongside McDonald’s to create an anniversary-inspired meal and line of apparel, set to be exclusive to the Asian region. Merging the big M’s penchant for deep-fried goods with CLOT’s streetwear ingenuity, the capsule collection features a somewhat chic reimagining of the chain’s distinctive restaurant uniform — which will actually be worn by its staff, at select locations.

Dubbed the “CLOT x McSpicy Collection,” the uniform sees the iconic sandwich’s “Silk Royale” pattern injected onto shirts, complete with McDonald’s trademark “M” badges. The collection also includes CLOT-designed hoodies, some of which are finished with Chinese symbols which represent a celebration of the momentous anniversary, while others come complete with graphics of burgers coming straight off the grill.

Rounding out the eccentric collection is a selection of commemorative tote bags and travel cups, alongside vibrant meal packaging designs that feature across burger wrappers, tray mats and takeaway bags.

The CLOT x McDonald’s anniversary collection is now available at over 5,000 locations across Mainland China and McDonald’s China Tmall.

In other collaboration news, check out F.C. Barcelona and Spotify’s Rosalia-branded football shirts.
