UPDATED STORY (May 17, 2023): A little over two months after the first teaser trailer for the new Haunted Mansion remake dropped, Disney Studios finally released the first official trailer.
The full-length preview begins with Rosario Dawson giving LaKeith Stanfield a warning as he’s about the enter the haunted mansion. “I’m not afraid of a couple of ghosts,” he responds. Then, chaos ensues.

ORIGINAL STORY (March 2, 2023): Disney Studios has dropped the first official teaser trailer for the forthcoming film Haunted Mansion.
Haunted Mansion appears to be a remake of the 2003 film, which starred Eddie Murphy, Marsha Thomason, Marc John Jefferies and Aree Davis. However, the new film appears to be creepier. The upcoming movie stars Rosario Dawson, LaKeith Stanfield, Owen Wilson, Danny DeVito, Winona Ryder, Jared Leto, Tiffany Haddish and Jamie Lee Curtis.
The synopsis for the new version of the supernatural film reads as follows per IMDb: “A single mom named Gabbie (Rosario Dawson) hires a tour guide (LaKeith Stanfield), a psychic (Tiffany Haddish), a priest (Owen Wilson), and a historian to help exorcise their newly bought mansion; after discovering it is inhabited by ghosts.”
Additionally, Disney has unveiled the first movie poster (seen above), which features the characters posing on a staircase. “Home is where the haunt is,” reads a caption on the poster.
