Meet Evangelista, the New Luxury Lingerie Label Putting You First

Founded by actress Christine Evangelista, the Italian-made label takes a fresh approach to femininity.

There’s a new name entering the luxury lingerie space, and Evangelista is making the case for lingerie as something to experience for yourself, not simply dress up for someone else.

Founded by actress Christine Evangelista, the New York-based label draws on Italian craftsmanship, artistry and the many contradictions of modern femininity. After spending two decades working across film and television, Evangelista travelled throughout Italy, immersing herself in the country’s textile heritage and working alongside artisans.

The result is an intimate debut collection crafted in small batches from rare Leavers lace, Italian silks and bespoke hardware. Produced in partnership with Italian lace manufacturer Pizval and luxury atelier Davos, each piece places traditional craftsmanship at the forefront.

The debut edit includes delicate lingerie, silk jacquard separates, Leavers lace sleepwear, slip dresses and sculptural accessories, with many pieces designed to be styled beyond the bedroom. At the heart of Evangelista is the belief that femininity isn’t one-dimensional. Softness can coexist with strength, while sensuality can be entirely self-directed. “Women are never just one thing,” shared Evangelista. “We hold softness and strength, mystery and confidence, sensuality and stillness all at once.”

The collection is now available via the Evangelista website.

In other news, these are the indie swimwear brands to get on your radar.
