New York Art Fair i am u are Celebrates Ukrainian Creatives
Paying homage to Ukraine’s past, present and future.
Envisioned by Gogola Agency founder Anna Pagava and co-founder Kristina Skripka, i am u are is a first-of-its-kind platform and art fair, elevating Ukrainian creatives.
The first exhibition will be home to over 100 artists excelling in disciplines ranging from fashion to fine art, empowering the country’s vibrant community of inventive individuals, while dispelling harmful stereotypes. Centered around community, the three-day showcase features designers from the likes of Business of Fashion 500 member Anna October, rising brand BEVZA, as well as jeweler Nomis and Guzema, which has been worn by Ukrainian First Lady Olena Zelenska.
“To the surprise of many — Ukraine is not only a country with deep historical roots, but also progressive and modern, with incredible brands in tech, fashion and lifestyle. My dream was to create an event, which would correspond to this image of our country as well as its outstanding creative industry. I hope our guests get to see this for themselves as well,” Pagava shares in an exclusive press release.
