GANNI and Veneda Carter Drop "Butterflies" Jewelry Collaboration
An exclusive three-piece collection featuring GANNI’s distinctive butterfly logo.
GANNI is joining forces with Los Angeles-based creative Veneda Carter — teaming up with her eponymous jewelry label to mark the Danish brand’s foray into the category.
First revealed during the brand’s Fall/Winter 2023 showcase in Copenhagen this year, the partnership results in an exclusive, three-piece collection comprising hoop earrings, a bracelet and a necklace. Each piece in the collection features GANNI’s new butterfly logo in pendant form, taking cues from Carter’s futuristic design aesthetic. Designed with the signature crumpled texture from GANNI’s “Butterflies” collection, the pieces are crafted with 18-carat gold plating.
“I am so extremely grateful for my first jewellery collaboration with GANNI. Growing up in Copenhagen It only felt right to collaborate with them. I’ve been such a huge fan of the brand since the start, so it’s an honour to be working together creatively,” says Carter in a press release.
“This collaboration is really special to me. I’m so excited to explore jewellery as a category and I love that we are doing it with Veneda. She is a true multihyphenate and a major muse of mine. I love Veneda’s take on our new Butterfly logo, which to me symbolises transformation, freedom and positivity. All characteristics that Veneda embodies with her creativity. She is a total GANNI Girl,” adds Ditte Reffstrup, GANNI’s Creative Director.
The official collaboration follows a longstanding relationship between Carter and the brand, which has seen the creative walking in several GANNI shows in the past.
