Saint Laurent's Rive Droite Opens Book Installations by Printed Matter
Featuring limited and special edition books, zines and artists’ publications.
Saint Laurent‘s Anthony Vaccarello teamed up with American artist book organization, Printed Matter, on two vibrant book installations at its Rive Droite stores in Paris and Los Angeles.
Each store will feature approximately 20 curated books, including works by the likes of David Horvitz, Ed Steck and Nigel Shafran, alongside Joel Smith’s select curation of photographs by Ray Johnson, Please Send to Real Life. Comprising limited and special editions, the selection will feature regular trade editions and specialist publications exploring concepts of queer identity and art.
The partnership with Printed Matter follows the success of the organization’s renowned Art Book Fairs, which took place in New York in 2006 and Los Angeles in 2013. Founded by artists in 1976, Printed Matter is currently the world’s leading non-profit organization, solely dedicated to the distribution of artists’ books and related publications.
