Take an Early Look at the New Aimé Leon Dore x New Balance 650
Landing in a clean, “White/Baby Blue” colorway.
Aimé Leon Dore and New Balance are continuing to give the fans what they want, and that is more collaborations.
Off the back of the success of ALD’s cult-loved New Balance 550s (which now arrive in a suede-covered iteration, FYI) the design duo is back for more, this time taking over the classic New Balance 650 silhouette.
Seemingly continuing to take cues from the retro aesthetic of old-school basketball, ALD’s vintage-inspired DNA outfits the chunky, mid-top silhouette, arriving in a subtle white and baby blue colorway. Crafted with mesh and leather panels, the sneaker boasts a white upper with a baby blue trim featuring across the borders of its “N” logos, collars and interior lining.
Elsewhere, ALD’s distinctive hoops logo appears debossed onto the shoe’s heels, completing the tonal design. Rounding out the collaborative offering is the New Balance emblem, located on the right heel’s sneaker.
