SKIMS Opens Summer Pop-Up Shop in New York
It’s hot girl summer.
SKIMS is heating up the concrete jungle with the opening of a summer pop-up shop in the heart of New York.
Starting on May 16, the waitlist-inducing brand is bringing its viral styles to Rockerfeller Center. The historic building is outfitted with an iris blue structure and diving board water display, designed by Willo Perron of Perron-Roettinger, making the pop-up more immersive than ever. To celebrate the opening of SKIMS’ pop-up shop, the Radio City Rockettes performed their legendary kick line while wearing the best-selling Seamless Sculpt collection. “We are thrilled to be opening our most spectacular retail activation to date at Rockefeller Center. To ensure everyone has the opportunity to be part of it we’ve introduced expedited checkout via QR codes and are offering appointments you can make in advance. Our goal is for our customers to have the best experience possible,” said Jens Grede, CEO and Co-Founder of SKIMS.
In addition to getting their hands on SKIMS’ highly coveted silhouettes and designs, lucky customers will be able to treat themselves to custom SKIMS sweets from Morgenstern’s Ice Cream.
