JJJJound Teases Salomon Collaboration Sneakers

Marking the sneaker duo’s first-ever team-up.

JJJJound just alluded to what might be one of its best collaborations yet, taking to Instagram to tease a forthcoming partnership with French sporting company, Salomon.

Taking over what appears to be Salomon’s classic (and most understated) XT-Wings 2 silhouette, the teaser pictures a close-up of the sneaker, arriving in a minimal sail and bone color palette. Only a single image has been shared thus far, but already we can see custom JJJJound branding on the sneaker’s heel, alongside Salomon’s, paired with vibrant blue accents across the shoe’s upper.

Opting for one of Salomon’s more subtle silhouettes, one that was first released in 2011 as a high-performance trail runner, JJJJound’s collaborative iteration is likely one for the sneaker minimalists, as with the majority of its footwear team-ups. The partnership comes about following JJJJound’s collaborations with ASICS, Reebok, New Balance and adidas — so it makes sense that Salomon’s Sportstyle silhouettes would be next on the agenda.

Take a look at the teaser above, and stay tuned for more release info coming soon.
