Nicki Minaj and Ice Spice Are Dolls Brought to Life in New Music Video for "Barbie World"
The latest single from the ‘Barbie’ soundtrack.
UPDATE (June 23, 2023): Nicki Minaj and Ice Spice have finally released their new collab, “Barbie World” (with Aqua), which is part of the Barbie soundtrack.
The video starts out with Nicki and Ice Spice as dolls, who get brought to life. Then, the video shows the rappers in different settings within Barbie’s world, of course.
“And I’m bad like the Barbie (Barbie)/ I’m a doll, but I still wanna party (Party)/ Pink ‘Vette like I’m ready to bend (Bend)/ I’m a ten, so I pull in a Ken/ Like Jazzie, Stacie, Nicki (Grrah)/ All of the Barbies is pretty (Damn)/ All of the Barbies is bad/ It girls (It girls) and we ain’t playin’ tag (Grrah),” they sing in the chorus.

ORIGINAL STORY (June 12, 2023): Nicki Minaj and Ice Spice have taken to social media to reveal when they’re dropping their highly anticipated collab “Barbie World,” which will appear on the Barbie soundtrack.
“It’s BARBIE B!CH,” they captioned a joint Instagram post. “If you still in DOUBT #BarbieWorld. JUNE 23rd. PRE-SAVE NOW.” The collab is seemingly a new version of Aqua’s 1997 “Barbie World.” She will also be featured in the forthcoming track.
Nicki and Ice are just two of the many artists appearing in the Barbie soundtrack. Aside from the rappers, Ava Max, Charli XCX, Dominic Fike, Dua Lipa, FIFTY FIFTY, GAYLE, HAIM, Kali, Karol G, Khalid, Lizzo, PinkPantheress, Ryan Gosling, Tame Impala, The Kid LAROI and more are featured on the project.
Lipa’s “Dance the Night” was the first single to drop from the Barbie soundtrack. The actual soundtrack will be dropping on July 21, which is the same day the film premieres. Stay tuned for “Barbie World,” releasing on June 23 and check out the announcement below.
