The Weeknd, Lily-Rose Depp and BLACKPINK's Jennie Release BDSM Track "One of the Girls"
The latest collab for ‘The Idol’ is about choking.
For weeks, there have been new songs frequently dropping for The Idol. One of the latest releases includes “One of the Girls” a BDSM-related track by The Weeknd, Lily-Rose Depp and BLACKPINK‘s Jennie.
Each artist sings a verse pertaining to BDSM before coming together for the chorus. The three singers sing, “We don’t gotta be in love, no/ I don’t gotta be the one, no/ I just wanna be one of your girls tonight (Tonight)/ We don’t gotta be in love, no/ I don’t gotta be the one, no (Oh)/ I just wanna be one of your girls tonight, oh.”
The Weeknd, whose real name is Abel Tesfaye, plays a problematic character, which can also be depicted in some of the songs for The Idol. “There’s nothing sexy about it,” Tesfaye previously told GQ about the controversial HBO show. “With this show, we love to play with the emotions. We’re puppet-mastering your feelings through the show.”
Additionally, “One of the Girls” is a drop release for Jennie as it marks her first solo release since 2018. Check “One of the Girls” below.
