Let’s be real — BLACKPINK‘s Jennie is the only reason we’re tuning into The Idol.
In between Abel Tesfaye‘s terrible dirty talk and the show’s heavy-handed male gaze, the K-pop singer offers the relief we desperately need, despite her limited screen time.
Making her big debut on the silver screen, Jennie is reportedly the most mentioned actor on the show as she appears in over 35 percent of Twitter posts discussing the series. The Weeknd comes in second with his name popping up in 22.7 percent of tweets related to the show, while Lily-Rose Depp is only mentioned in 13 percent. That being said, the chain-smoking pop star is the most mentioned character on the show as Jocelyn’s name appears in 35 percent of the tweets discussing Sam Levinson‘s characters.
While a second season has yet to be confirmed, BLINK fans are all hoping to see more of Jennie. Thankfully, the multi-talented beauty might just be joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe sometime soon.
