ORIGINAL STORY (July 12, 2023): Japanese streetwear label TIGHTBOOTH is gearing up for its upcoming collaboration alongside Nike and the Nike SB team.
Provided with a preview by founder Shinpei Ueno, the forthcoming release offers a fresh interpretation of the SB Dunk Low sneaker. Featuring a unique combination of textures and materials, the base showcases black hairy suede, complemented by scratch-textured off-white overlays. The design is completed with color-matched lining, laces and a reflective black Swoosh on the lateral side. The padded tongue displays a dotted arrangement with prominent TIGHTBOOTH branding, alongside the Nike SB tongue tag. An orange sockliner with TIGHTBOOTH branding adds a vibrant touch, complementing a small lateral tag below the Swoosh.
While specific details are yet to be disclosed by TIGHTBOOTH and Nike, industry rumors suggest the collaboration will launch during the holiday season. The sneakers are expected to be available through Nike’s official channels and select skate shops, with an estimated retail price of $135 USD.
