Nike's New Campaign Brings Women to the Forefront of Football

Starring Chloe Kelly, Debinha, Grace Geyoro, Kadeisha Buchanan and Megan Rapinoe.

As the 2023 Women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand fast approaches, Nike‘s newest campaign aims to bring this season’s players to the forefront of the game. Championing female footballers from around the globe, “What The Football” aims to showcase those inspiring the younger generations through sport.

The film stars 11 footballers and Nike athletes, including Chloe Kelly, Debinha, Grace Geyoro, Kadeisha Buchanan and Megan Rapinoe, alongside Ada Hegerberg, Alex Morgan and Asisat Oshoala. Hoping to capture the spirit of the sport and highlight the impact that women’s involvement has had on the game, the campaign also aims to redefine perceptions of athlete partnerships.

Alongside the campaign film, Nike has released a series of individual episodes starring each player, now available to watch on the official Nike Football YouTube channel.

Take a look at the campaign video above, and head to Nike’s YouTube to find out more.
