According to Naskova, on July 22 Venus, the planet of all love will turn retrograde, “making this Summer challenging for couples, singles, one-time lovers and holiday affairs.” The retrograde period will be in Leo and will last approximately six weeks.
Unfortunately for some, the planet of Love’s upcoming transit will most likely cause “disruption and breakups in relationships that were already damaged and headed that way,” she continued. Relationships new or old are both subject to qualms during this period. Ironically, where the period is not a good time for those coupled, it doubles as the “perfect moment to deal with loose ends from the past and gain closure — or get that ex back,” she jokes.
The most important thing to remember during Venus Retrograde is that its a “trigger for self-reflection, prompting us to reconsider our needs and desires when it comes to intimacy.” This means that your sex life will be impacted alongside your heart. Ultimately, it’s a six-week period to dive deeper into your heart, mind and sexuality, to determine if you’re living most authentically. If your internal dive does not reflect the way in which you’d like to love and experience, there’s limitless potential for growth and positive change.
