A Closer Look at ERL's Forthcoming Levi's Collaboration

Landing in September.

Following an initial teaser posted on Instagram, ERL and Levi’s are teaming up for their first-ever collaboration, paying homage to the laid-back, sun-soaked energy of California.

Aiming to capture the “effortlessly cool essence” of Cali living, the collection features a revamped version of the classic 501 jeans, alongside a loose-fit silhouette, a pair of low-rise flares, an oversized board short and a light-wash mini skirt. Leaning into casual and comfy fits, the collection features oversized silhouettes, raw edges and washed-out denim.

Elsewhere, the collection offers a selection of matching denim tops, arriving in a light indigo finish for a mix-and-match effect, plus a range of classic jackets and shirts, including a Sherpa Trucker Jacket, Sherpa Duster Jacket and a heavy-duty overshirt. Alongside tops and bottoms, the collection also includes a standout silhouette, landing in the form of a high-volume Heritage Dress. Each piece features a distinctively ERL design, complete with an embroidered logo that appears at random places across the garment for added spontaneity.

“It was super exciting to work with the Levi’s team on the design process,” notes Eli Russell Linnetz, Founder of ERL. “Because authenticity is the most important thing to me, I really enjoyed going through the Levi’s archives to fully understand the heritage of the brand and see how people throughout the years have customized and made it their own. Our Levi’s x ERL collection has a very grunge, casual, and skater energy. It’s easy to throw on for everyday wear but it’s still identifiable with a clear voice and signature.”

The Levi’s x ERL collection will launch worldwide on September 6, available for purchase via Levi’s website, store locations and at Dover Street Market.
