ERL Unveiled a New Chapter With an Extended Women's Line

Titled “The Island,” the drop balances East Coast prep with California cool.

Friday night in Paris, ERL stepped into a new chapter. Designer Eli Russell Linnetz unveiled his highly anticipated collection, “The Island,” in the French capital, marking ERL’s extended womenswear offering and Paris showroom debut.

The collection draws inspiration from a real-life story from the founder, transforming an awkward family trip into a nostalgic exploration of American identity. The season contrasts East Coast prep with Venice Beach’s laid-back attitude. Expect classic Americana staples, including tartan tailoring, rugby knits, cable vests and pastel suiting, alongside acid-washed denim, bold chartreuse sportswear, surf-inspired graphics and sun-faded hoodies. Throughout, the collection balances polished Ivy League references with California’s carefree energy.

Most notably, the drop marks the expansion of ERL’s womenswear, introducing bikinis, slip dresses and floral separates alongside the brand’s signature patchwork techniques. Accessories and footwear continue to grow with washed driving loafers, beach bags and leather belts also on offer.

Craftsmanship remains central, with one-off artisanal pieces, antique textiles and deadstock fabrics featured throughout the collection. This is ERL at its finest.

Check out the collection above and head to the brand’s website for more.
