No fans are as dedicated as Kobe Bryant fans and footwear photographer Tyler Mansour proves just that as the Makeshift Studio founder created a completely custom Kobe 8, inspired by the Lakers all-star’s alma mater — Lower Merion High School.
The one-of-one pair of sneakers are outfitted in the Philadelphia school’s colors. A deep maroon covers the heel cages, which feature Kobe’s signature, joining the synthetic toe tip overlays and midsoles that are invigorated with the Kobe Sheath insignias. Meanwhile, the mesh base layer arrives in a contrasting tan shade, coordinating with a caramel-tinted leather tongue. The heel panels are painted in a light beige, boasting snakeskin scales arranged within a geometric map.
