Feng Chen Wang Is Seeing Double In New Converse Collab
Presenting the Chuck 70 2-in-1.
Chinese label Feng Chen Wang is cooking up another Converse collaboration, ushering in a new era of the Chuck 70. Five years after the duo first teamed up to present Feng’s deconstructed vision to the world, they’re back and better than ever.
Developing a new two-in-one iteration of the classic Chuck 70, the collaborative silhouette acts as an evolution of the designer’s exploration of layering and duality. Designed with the thought of ‘two’ in mind, the shoe boasts a canvas overlay, double-layered foxing tape and a directional outsole which has been spliced into four quadrants.
Elsewhere, the shoes feature branding across the laces and lateral sides and arrive in two distressed colorways of off-white and dark green. Fusing flexibility and deconstruction with a classic silhouette, the new collaboration aims to add a little “flex” to your step.
Take a closer look at the new Converse x Feng Chen Wang 2-in-1 above, slated for release on February 6 and likely to make an appearance on the runways at Paris Fashion Week this season.
