It's Official: Regina George Is a “Member of the Alphabet Mafia”

In a new interview, Reneé Rapp dives into the sexuality of her Mean Girls character, Regina George.
“People actually think Regina [George] is part of the Rainbow Mafia,” Gay Times interviewer asked, referencing social media‘s obsession with Regina’s alleged queerness. “What do you think about that?”
“Not the Rainbow Mafia,” Rapp replies immediately after covering her mouth in a gasp. “For me, she absolutely is,” Rapp exclaimed. “I got into an argument on Instagram about this,” she admits.

“She’s not a lesbian, you sound…” a fan responded to her at the time. According to the Mean Girls and Sex Lives of College Girls, she doesn’t give a f-ck. ”Alright, so maybe she isn’t to you but for me, she is. So shut up.”
Rapp closes: “Be mad. Go home. Touch grass.”
