SKIMS Spotlights Breast Cancer Survivor Olivia Munn in New Campaign

SKIMS just dropped its newest campaign featuring actor, activist and mother Olivia Munn. In partnership with breast cancer foundation Susan G. Komen, the campaign highlights Munn’s own journey with breast cancer, encouraging women to prioritize their health and book regular screenings.
Earlier this year, Munn spoke out about her ongoing battle with breast cancer, with her story resulting in a significant increase in visits to The National Cancer Institute’s breast cancer risk assessment tool site. “When Olivia Munn courageously shared her story earlier this year, Komen.org saw a 500% increase in visits to our risk assessment tool—a powerful reminder of how even one single, amplified voice can save lives,” said Paula Schneider, president and CEO of Susan G. Komen.
“The stark reality is that in the U.S., a woman is diagnosed with breast cancer every two minutes, and every 12 minutes, we lose another to the disease. Breast cancer knows no boundaries, affecting all ages and backgrounds, with cases on the rise among women under 50. We are honored to partner with SKIMS and Olivia on this critical initiative, because ending breast cancer will take all of us, working together,” she continued.
Directed by long-term collaborator and photographer Vanessa Beecroft, the campaign sees Munn in SKIMS’ viral Nipple Bra alongside the Teardrop Push-Up Bra, Back Smoothing Brief Bodysuit and Multi-way Bra.
“It’s an honor to partner with SKIMS and Susan G. Komen on this incredible campaign. This cause is deeply personal to me, and I’m proud to help drive awareness and conversation around it,” said Munn in a statement. “SKIMS’ commitment to empowerment and community aligns perfectly with the message of this campaign, which is all about confidence, comfort, and feeling your best self. That’s exactly how I felt shooting this,” she adds.
From October 23 to 31, SKIMS will be donating 10% of the retail sales price to Susan G. Komen for each bra sold in SKIMS stores and its website.
