Oribe Teams up With Kenyan Artist Thandiwe Muriu for Its 2024 Holiday Collection
Blending traditional African prints and Oribe’s signature design elements.
Oribe’s holiday collection is here and this year, the haircare brand is collaborating with Kenyan artist, Thandiwe Muriu. Together, they’ve crafted six limited-edition sets that include some of Oribe’s bestsellers, with packaging that utilizes bespoke African prints.
For the collection, Muriu was inspired by the African proverb, “When your sister does your hair, you do not need a mirror.” Warm, joyful and full of life, this collaboration is based on heritage and community. To create unique styles for the campaign imagery, Oribe’s hair artist Stacey Ciceron weaved together hair that felt sculptural and artistic. Each style not only highlights the exquisite craftsmanship of Muriu’s designs but also embodies the spirit of connection and unity.

This year’s holiday collection features several bestsellers and a few new sets including the Signature Style Travel Set, the Travel Moisture and Control Collection, the Gold Lust Collection, the Hair Alchemy Collection, the Cote d’Azur Fragrance and Body Collection and the Gold Lust Liter Set.
