Camila Cabello's grounds Collaboration Reinvents the "Moopie"
Inspired by her fourth studio album, ‘C, XOXO.’
grounds, most famously known for its classic bubble-sole silhouette, has just taken things up a notch. The Japanese footwear brand has marked its first-ever global talent partnership with musician, Camila Cabello. Together, the two have produced a limited edition, made-to-order shoe called the “Moopie x Camila Cabello.” It’s bubbly, chunky and even more cloud-like thanks to its Camila-approved colorway.
The collaboration reflects the pop star’s love for the footwear brand (who doesn’t love those bubbly soles?) and draws inspiration from grounds’ classic “Moopie” trainer — a style that’s long been a favorite of hers. Now, the new “Moopie x Camila Cabello” comes in a “Blue Hour” colorway in tribute to her fourth studio album, C, XOXO.
And if you haven’t had a chance to listen yet, C, XOXO is a heartfelt love letter to Camila’s Miami roots, which inspired the “Blue Hour” shade, drawing from the city’s neon lights, ocean waves and endless nightlife. For an extra personal touch, the album title is printed on the insole and heel tab to add a special detail to the design.
The “Moopie x Camila Cabello” is available for pre-order now on the grounds website, with shipments set to roll out in Spring 2025.
