Reebok and WNBA Tie the Knot With a Multi-Year Partnership

Establishing it as an official footwear supplier for the league.

Reebok and the WNBA are stepping back onto the hardwood together, reigniting a relationship that’s been decades in the making. The sneaker giant has a storied history in women’s basketball — from designing women’s basketball shoes in the ’80s to sponsoring powerhouse collegiate teams in the ’90s.

This summer, Reebok deepened its ties to the game by partnering with LSU superstar Angel Reese and launching a shoe and apparel collection. The partnership was cemented even further in October with a long-term extension and a fresh signature shoe collaboration.

Now, Reebok and the WNBA have taken their partnership to the next level by announcing a multi-year deal, establishing the global sportswear giant as an official footwear supplier for the league.

“The WNBA continues to grow with iconic brands and we look forward to Reebok joining us in driving women’s basketball to new heights and inspiring the next generation,” shares WNBA Chief Growth Officer, Colie Edison, in the press release. “As we continue to capitalize on increased brand awareness, our work with Reebok is another step in bringing more fans to the game.”

Basketball legend and Reebok Basketball President, Shaquille O’Neal echoed the excitement, “It’s an exciting time for Reebok, the WNBA and the game of basketball overall. Reebok has always been committed to supporting the growth of the sport. Now, with a strong plan, the right resources and the welcoming arms of the WNBA, we’re ready to dive in headfirst with everything from product to players and more.”
