CELINE Debuts Its First Ever Cosmetics Line

During the digital showcase of its Winter 2024 collection.

The French luxury brand just announced that it’s expanding the CELINE Beauté line into color cosmetics for the first time, starting with a satin lipstick. The House first entered the beauty arena with a fragrance collection launch in 2019, helmed by Hedi Slimane, Celine’s Creative, Image and Artistic Director.

This push into makeup was revealed in a film shown during the “La Collection de l’Arc de Triomphe” Winter 2024 collection showcase. The brand plans to launch a collection of lip products dubbed “Le Rouge CELINE” in January 2025 consisting of 15 shades of satin-finished lipsticks. One of the forthcoming shades, a nude tone “La Peau Nue” was worn by the models in the film.

CELINE describes the beauty line as a way to enrich its cultural roots while promoting a French idea of femininity and allure, according to a statement. The fashion house will release new products like lip balms, mascaras, eyeliners, eye pencils, loose powder, blush and nail polishes every season alongside its fashion collections. The first lipstick shade “Rouge Triomphe” will release in September.
