'Sex With Emily' Morse and LELO on Sexual Wellbeing

An evening of celebrating sexual wellness.

LELO and the industry’s top sex educators joined forces for an event at Los Angeles health club, HEIMAT.

Discussing sexual wellness, sex educators Emily Morse, Chris Donaghue and Nadège Collot shared their top industry tips for maintaining wellness. Sex with Emily podcast host Morse, shared: “Sexual wellbeing is so important for women because sexual wellness is wellness and it’s a crucial part of our overall health.”

The worldview that sex is taboo is not only false, but it hinders women due to limited sex education and access to care. For example, the overturning of Roe v. Wade and limited abortion access. Or, an issue close to home for LELO, stigmatizing sensuality by banning its first beauty launch advert. Other examples are the shadow banning and de-platforming of vaginal health educators on social media.

As a result, many don’t know the benefits of maintaining sexual wellness, Morse shared. “It contributes to improved self-esteem, it can help decrease depression and anxiety, it can enhance our libido and it’s just really important to eradicate any shame associated with sex.”
