Aeyde's Pre-Spring 2025 Is a Modern-Day Fairy Tale

Inspired by the Brothers Grimm novel, ‘Sleeping Beauty.’

Berlin-based footwear and accessories label Aeyde just dropped its Pre-Spring 2025 collection, dubbed “Aeyde Sleeping Beauty.” Exploring themes of transformation and individuality, the new offering also debuts a collaboration with writer and editor, Durga Chew-Bose. Bringing her literary expertise to the project, Chew-Bose reimagines six classic Brothers Grimm fairy tales, beginning with Sleeping Beauty.

The collection blends Aeyde’s minimalist aesthetic with distinctive details, resulting in the Y2K-inspired Danielle Mules, oversized Nova Pumps and edgy Tara Slingbacks. Elsewhere, the collection includes a range of Aeyde’s signature flats and boots, arriving in hues of crackled gold, black, silver and “Port.”

“Our Pre-Spring 2025 Collection ‘Aeyde Sleeping Beauty’ draws inspiration from age-old stories, yet remains forward-thinking in its approach. This season is a celebration of transformation—both in narrative and design— and we are excited to share it with our customers at Harrods, where luxury and storytelling beautifully intersect,” says Luisa Dames, founder and CEO of Aeyde.

The collection campaign, lensed by Daniel Roché, takes inspiration from Sleeping Beauty’s central themes of renewal and awakening. Captured through raw, minimalist imagery, the campaign stars rising model Ajah Angau. Evolving the project is a new printed book housing Chew-Bose’s work, featuring the six fairy tales and accompanying essays, which directly informed the campaign’s visuals.

Take a look at the new collection and campaign above and head to Aeyde’s website to purchase. For those based in London, Aeyde will also be hosting a pop-up at Harrods, opening on January 27.
