Precious Lee’s YSL Digital Series Is Beyond Empowering
Directed and shot by Tyler Mitchell, the digital campaign captures what strong femininity looks and smells like.
YSL Beauty just dropped the second chapter of its bold Libre Flowers & Flames digital series, starring none other than supermodel Precious Lee.
The sultry new scent, much like Lee, is the definition of what strong femininity looks and smells like. Featuring Lily Accord as its star ingredient, the fragrance was first released with global ambassador Dua Lipa in August. The digital series now invites four talents – including Hailey Bieber and now Lee – to “share their truth and personify what ‘Libre’ means to them.” Two more trailblazers will be join their ranks in the coming weeks.
“I’ve never subscribed to societal conventions, which has given me freedom,” says Lee in the social assets created to accompany the empowering Tyler Mitchell-directed and shot series. “Freedom is knowing you can create your own path, on your own terms, and achieve whatever you work hard towards. I am so proud to be part of this project and continue inspiring young women to show up 100% as themselves, proudly. ”
Lily Accord was a firm favorite of the late Saint Laurent himself; a warm and powerful note that comes from the desert and possesses a carnal-like quality. Vanilla and coco flower round out the fragrance at its base and provide a solid foundation for the wearer. Overall, it has a sensual and sun-kissed quality, which makes it perfect for when you’re out on holiday or in need of some heat.
