Barbour and ERDEM Bring Their Runway Team-up to the Streets

First debuted for Spring/Summer 2024.

ERDEM and Barbour are bringing their runway collaboration to the streets, at last. First teased during the Spring/Summer 2024 season, the new capsule collection blends Barbour’s heritage fabrics with ERDEM’s modern femininity, resulting in a slew of outerwear silhouettes that’ll go straight to the top of your new season wish list.

Drawing inspiration from “a fascination with the natural world,” the collection features four key styles, each named after a different flower or plant. First, the Beauflower acts as an evolution of Barbour’s Beaufort wax jacket and is crafted with contrasting, patchwork waxed cotton and a blooming print. Next is the Dhalia, which boasts an “exploded peplum” waist and detachable tartan hood, followed by the Clover — a reversible swing jacket crafted from dry wax cotton.

“I was inspired by the extraordinary Barbour archive, particularly their fabrications and hardware and loved the idea of translating their heritage of practical, utilitarian details and combining it with my language of the feminine,” says Erdem Moralioglu MBE, the brand’s creative director.

The Constance Wax Jacket completes the line-up, merging classic ERDEM tailoring with utility-inspired details. The Dhalia, Clover and Constance silhouettes are available in “Sand” and “Olive” colorways, alongside a floral detachable hood.

“We are excited to be able to offer this collaboration to our customers, following the success of our previous partnership. The collection marries the timeless craftsmanship and quality of both brands, taking Erdem’s romantic and contemporary approach combined with our most iconic silhouettes and wax fabrications,” adds Nicola Brown, Director of Womenswear at Barbour.

Along with the capsule collection, ERDEM and Barbour are announcing a new “Re-Loved” initiative which sees 25 used Beaufort jackets restored with new cord collars and silver eyelets, inspired by ERDEM’s SS24 runway show.

Take a look at the new ERDEM x Barbour collection above, which is now available for purchase via Barbour’s website and select retailers.
