Poppi Took a Taste of the Tropics to Penn State With Amaya Papaya
Last week, the beloved brand and ‘Love Island USA’ Season 7 winner brought bubbles to State College to launch her signature soda, Island Colada.
The school semester has started, and buzzy prebiotic soda brand poppi is in for the ride. As part of the brand’s Major Flavor Tour, where college campuses get a taste of Gen-Z’s beloved soda flavors, poppi’s hitting up four colleges and universities, with Penn State University as the first stop. Last Thursday, October 9, poppi, along with Love Island USA Season 7 winner Amaya Espinal, affectionately known as Amaya Papaya, touched down in State College, Pennsylvania, to celebrate her signature soda in collaboration with the brand.
Penn State students got a first-sip of Island Colada, a bubbly mix of tropical fruits, courtesy of Espinal, who visited Champs Downtown to the delight of the crowd. Aside from Amaya Papaya’s signature prebiotic soda, Penn State students were treated to an unforgettable night of fun with dopamine-inducing DJ sets and limited-edition merch.
While Penn State was the first stop on poppi’s Major Flavor Tour, it’s not the last, and Espinal will be passing the baton to another former Love Island USA member for the next city. Espinal’s infectious, NYC-bred energy ignited Happy Valley, and up next, poppi’s headed to Spelman College to ring in the homecoming season with Love Island USA season 6 contestant, JaNa Craig.
