Adidas and CLOT by Edison Chen Drop Another Perfect Collaboration
Redesigning the Superstar in two new colorways.
adidas and CLOT by Edison Chen are back together again, remixing Ivy League aesthetics in a new collaboration. After the success of the duo’s Stan Smith and Superstar silhouettes, this highly-anticipated link-up is coming for more than just your footwear rotation. The collection merges collegiate, sporty chic with classic tailoring and adidas’ signature Three Stripes for a campus-ready capsule.
At the heart of the collaboration is the CLOT Pro Model, a work boot recreation of the adidas Superstar. Arriving in brown and navy, the shoe features the same stacked, jagged sole as Chen’s first Superstar remake. A premium leather upper is complemented by gold hardware, a contrast sole and dual adidas and CLOT branding.
The earthy, autumnal colorways of the boots blend perfectly with the rest of the collection, with university-inspired shades of navy, red, brown and ivory creating a seamless capsule wardrobe. Heavy knitwear, refined tracksuits and corduroy sets with adidas’ stripes and Trefoil mix traditional styles with athleisure and streetwear: a beautiful mashup of aesthetics and fashion history that make this collaboration one of the best yet.
