Alana Hadid Collaborates With Finnish Fashion Brand Onar Studios

Creative director and activist Alana Hadid just dropped a new collaboration with Finnish fashion label, Onar Studios. Teaming up to create an eight-piece capsule collection, the new release takes inspiration from Hadid’s personal style and blends it with Onar’s distinctive aesthetic.
Each piece was co-designed by Hadid and Onar’s founder, Irene Kostas, and is designed to support strong, empowered women with their daily lives.
“This collaboration is an expression of my creativity, my fashion sense and my love of sustainability. It is my favourite expression to collaborate and I love the fact that I was able to collaborate on this with Irene. A strong, expressive, and powerful woman, like the Onar woman, is every woman – and I designed this collection for them,” explains Hadid in a press release.
Captured in Los Angeles by photographer Henna Koskinen, the accompanying campaign sees Hadid take center stage in the collection, dressed in shiny red leathers, fuzzy trimmed jackets and cropped trousers.
“I couldn’t have hoped for a more inspiring person to collaborate and share my design process with. The Alana Hadid x Onar Studios collaboration has been a dream project, as working with Alana has been natural and dynamic – she’s a force of nature. She perfectly represents the Onar woman: powerful, clear-minded, independent and daring to express herself. Rooted yet home everywhere.
