Now, “Members can add up to three Opening Moves,” or one-liners “to their profiles for matches to respond to,” Bumble shared. “You can choose to include a photo and caption, along with text-only options.” If you’re unsure which one best suits your profile, selfies or text, Bumble allows you to mix and match so “you can set up three in total on your profile, or write your own if you’re feeling creative.”

In its research, Bumble found a “29% increase in chat initiation among U.S. members and a 77% jump in quality conversations,” since launching Opening Moves.
