Charlotte Le Bon Debuts Jacquemus' New Le Valerie Bag

Named after the designer’s late mother.

Jacquemus just dropped its newest bag silhouette and the story behind it is more heart-warming than you might think. Named after Simon Porte Jacquemus’ late mother, Valérie, the new release takes inspiration from the designer’s childhood in the South of France and his rural heritage.

Harking back to the design of the 1930s, Le Valérie is crafted with a structured silhouette, following geometric lines intrinsic to the Jacquemus DNA. Featuring a sculptural ring detail, which leans into the design of the brand’s Bambola bag, the new release adds a sense of “archetypal femininity” to a classic silhouette.

Celebrating the release is a playful new campaign featuring The White Lotus star, Charlotte Le Bon. Showcasing the new silhouette, which features as part of the growing Le Paysan collection, the campaign adds a hint of joy. Along with the new bag silhouette, the release includes a series of Jacquemus-branded charms, taking inspiration from the designer’s elders, who grew and sold fruits and vegetables.

Take a look at the new release above, and head to the Jacquemus website to purchase.

In other campaign news, Vivienne Westwood dropped a Manga collab.
