The Coolest Bedding Brands to Shop This Winter

From duvet days to duvet slays.

Nesting season is finally upon us, and as the nights grow darker and longer, our desire to stay in bed and never leave only grows. Instead of forcing ourselves to be up and out, we’ve decided to take a different approach this season: embracing the desire by investing in cool homeware.

Finding the perfect duvet set can be an arduous task. It says a lot about a person, their favorite colorways, fabrics and most importantly: how much emphasis they place on sleep. As a result, we thought it might be best to share a little guidance. Featuring everything from classics like Tekla to Aussie staples like HOMMEY, our definitive list of lullaby-inducing labels has arrived.

Ahead, we round up our favorite bedding brands to shop from. Scroll through to discover your new favorites and stay tuned for Hypebae’s Holiday gift guides coming soon.

It’s virtually impossible to speak about bedding without mentioning Tekla. The Danish powerhouse has become incredibly popular for its minimal designs and unparalleled quality, and as a result, makes the perfect addition to any duvet lover’s collection. From “Mallow Pink” stripes to “Island Blue” colorways, the brand’s wide-ranging selection is both timeless and totally worth the investment.

Offering dozens of colorways, the classic duvet covers and pillows will suit any bedroom, and are perfect for adding a pop of color into an otherwise plain space. Most recently, the brand launched its new Cotton Collection, with hues of “Bubblegum,” “Sky” and “Apple Green.”

Based in the Netherlands, Crisp Sheets is known for its textured sheets and pillows, with fabrications ranging from Waffle and Waffle Pebble to Crisp and Cotton. Of course, deep colorways and classic whites are a given, but it’s the playful textures that really set Crisp apart from the rest.

Fashionistas may know HAY for its classic crates and colored homewares, but along with trinkets and toys, the brand stocks an extensive range of quality bedding — and who better to trust than a company renowned for its Scandi design? Signature hues like “Chocolate,” “Ivory” and “Lavender” make up the brand’s bedding repertoire, interspersed with playful prints and unlikely color combinations.

B-Corp certified label TBCO offers playful designs for playful people.
