High Fashion by JOL's New Collection is Bringing the Heat This Winter

Bringing a touch of Lagos to the global fashion scene.

High Fashion by JOL is one of the coolest luxury brands to come out of Africa in the last few years, and the label’s new “Desciples” collection is showing everyone why. Since its founding by Rahman Jago in 2019, High Fashion by JOL has set out to reinterpret the definition of luxury, incorporating essences of streetwear, local culture and traditional Nigerian design practices into each collection. This winter, the brand is at it again with everything from sporty polos and muscle tees to rhinestone denim sets.

The “Desciples” collection is eclectic, colorful and full of life. Bright T-shirts with reflective “HF” logos come in red, purple and black, with a 2-in-1 tee and mesh hoodie dropping in similar colors. Golf course-ready polos are available in long and short sleeved options, complete with iron-on patches for the perfect hole-in-one fit.

Drawing inspiration from Nigerian police officers and their army fatigues, a common aesthetic adopted and reappropriated by many creatives from the country, an oversized tank top features an “African Giant” graphic on the front, framed by “Federal Republic of 7.” Matching sweatsuits with two-way zippers round out the collection, available in bold green and pearly white.

The “Desciples” collection is available to shop now on the High Fashion by JOL website.

In other news, Tia Adeola’s new collection has Lagos written all over it.
