This Makeup Artist-Approved Lip Technique Is Flooding Our TikTok Feeds

Nina Park’s signature blurred lip is all the rage.

Seen on stars like Zoe Kravitz, Addison Rae and Mia Goth, Nina Park‘s trademark pouty lips are gaining tons of attention on TikTok. Specifically, users are fascinated by the celebrity makeup artist’s ability to make the lips appear naturally full and sculpted without sacrificing wearability.

Taking cues from K-beauty trends, Park’s signature lip look consists of a contoured lip line, a sheered out nude color and a touch of pink in the center. Because the lip combo is subtle yet defining, TikTokers have started to recreate the makeup artist’s technique using the products they already own. While over-lining your lips remains a staple trend, Park’s unique technique offers a straightforward way to get a similar look — minus the harsh lines.

To achieve the look, start by sheering out a nude brown shade outside of the lips’ natural line to create a subtle shadow. Next, use a cool-toned brown lip liner to carve out the inside of your lips. Lastly, top it off with a pinky shade in the very center of your lips for added dimension.

Recently, Nina Park’s blurred lip look has been spotted all over the red carpet. Not only can the lip combo be adjusted to suit any color palette or skin tone, it’s also versatile enough for the everyday. While the makeup artist paired it with smokey winged eyeliner for Margaret Qualley, she’s also coupled it with a subtle grey shadow look for Emma Stone. No matter what kind of glam you’re sporting, a soft, browny-pink lip is the perfect way to finish off the look.
