VoyeurVoyeur Is London's Newest Concept Store
Launched by model and all-round cool-girl Kat Qui and stocking everything from Rick Owens to KNWLS.
London’s latest concept store just landed, and it’s an ethereal haven. Launching in Shoreditch, VoyeurVoyeur is a retail space created by model and muse Kat Qiu, which encourages its audience to lean into the thrill of being seen.
East London’s existing hold as a style hub is further ignited through the launch, which brings a new energy to the area. A curated selection of brands is on display, including fan favorites like Rick Owens, Jean Paul Gaultier, Mugler, Dries Van Noten and Ann Demeulemeester, alongside newer labels such as Matières Fécales, Willy Chavarria, KNWLS and ACRONYM.
Pushing the boundaries of concept retail, Qui worked together with designers at CRAB Studio to create an environment that channels pleasure-seeking hedonism. The store features a one-way mirror changing room in the centre, reflecting the brightly lit walls, resulting in a gallery-like space. White geometric shapes feature throughout, juxtaposing with a deep wine-colored carpet that reflects the dark energy underscoring the brand identity. Qui brings her distinct aesthetic and creative point of view to an entirely new project that is absolutely worth the visit.
Qiu shared, “Opening a store might seem like an audacious move in this climate, but to me, it’s a necessity. In a world that’s burning down faster than we can rebuild, the need for visual comfort has never been in more demand.”
