Cardi B Defends Decision to Work With Megan thee Stallion's Ex
Throwback to Pardison Fontaine’s “FEMINIST” tattoo.
From her Tinder team-up in 2020 to her documentary, In Her Words, Megan thee Stallion‘s dating life is always in the news. But this time, her bestie and celebrity counterpart, Cardi B is under investigation, too.
On February 4, the New York-based rapper announced a new single, “Toot It Up (ft. Parison Fontaine).” The anticipation for new music has been on the rise since her freshman album, Invasion of Privacy released in 2018. Shortly after announcing, Pardison Fontaine also promoted the single to his Instagram.

However, Megan thee Stallion fans weren’t fond of the news. Immediately, comments sections and replies rang with sentiments such as “Cardi working with Megan’s ex that clowned her on social media? Whew that’s a FRIEND 😌.” Fans remember thee Stallion’s ex, Fontaine for seemingly not defending his partner during the government’s sentencing of Tory Lanez.
Immediately, the “Bodak Yellow” rapper spoke her truth on girl code. “I wanna make this very clear,” she said. “When I f-ck with two people and I like two people, I stay away from their sh-t. Because when it comes to relationships, some bullsh-t will always happen. And one thing about me, I’m gonna stay neutral and I’m gonna stay the f-ck out of it. Both of y’all can attest that that’s how I really am. I don’t wanna hear nothing because I f-ck with both of y’all and God forbid some sh-t happen, I don’t want to be in the middle of nobody’s sh-t. None of that sh-t is my f-cking business.”
Her closing note? To stop harassing her.
In other news, Carne Bollente releases its Spring/Summer 2025.
