ASICS and Nanushka's New Sneaker Is an Ode To Mindful Movement

Marking their first-ever collaboration.

Back in 2021, ASICS introduced its “Crafts for Minds” initiative, a program designed to champion mental well-being by emphasizing the craftsmanship behind its purpose-driven footwear. Since then, the brand has teamed up with a range of innovative creators, including Helen Kirkum, Florence Tétier and KASSL Editions. Now, ASICS welcomes another visionary partner — Budapest-born brand, Nanushka. Together, they are breathing new life into the project with the unveiling of a new GEL-KINETIC FLUENT sneaker.

The new sneaker reimagines ASICS’ running heritage through the Hungarian luxury brand’s refined lens. A sleek blend of grey and white, accented with black stitching that forms ASICS’ signature stripes, creates a sophisticated contrast. A black tongue and heel complete the look, fusing high-performance technology with beachy girl aesthetics. Additionally, this debut collaboration carries a meaningful impact — a portion of the proceeds will support Mind Over Mountains, a charity that blends professional mental health support with the power of nature and mindful movement.

“Collaborating with ASICS for Nanushka’s first sneaker felt instinctive, given our shared emphasis on movement and design integrity. ASICS has always been my go-to for sneakers that prioritize movement, aligning perfectly with my design ethos. Organic forms in nature are a key source of inspiration, fueling both my creativity and personal sense of balance. This collaboration marks an exciting milestone for us as we step into a new decade and honor the brand’s 20th anniversary,” shares Sandra Sándor, Founder and Creative Director of Nanushka.

Nanushka and ASICS’ GEL-KINETIC FLUENT sneaker is available for purchase on Nanushka’s official website. Check out the gallery for an up-close look at the collaboration.
