It’s official, rock band HAIM announces the I Quit tour.
As Charli XCX struggles to let go of Brat summer, she teased at Coachella that this summer could be a HAIM summer. On April 28, the band, comprised of three sisters, released their latest announcement on Instagram.
“THE I QUIT TOUR” the caption read. ” The newly announced album, I quit, officially secured its own tour, making the band’s resurgence all the more buzzy — and a serious contender for a summer takeover.
According to bandmate Alana Haim, the upcoming album “is the closest we’ve ever gotten to the sound we wanted.” The “theme of the album is enjoying the freedom of your own choosing, which the three sisters learned from their experiences of love and heartbreak,” the press release reads. Since announcing the album, the band has shared three singles from the upcoming album: ”Down to Be Wrong,” “Relationships,” and “Everybody’s Trying to Figure Me Out.”

The project has already hit viral status as the cover photo pays “homage to paparazzi photos of celebrities,” signifying a closer, more intimate look into the band’s stories and sound.
