Willy Chavarria Launches Women's Underwear Line

“Underwear is our most intimate clothing. I like it to feel good — and make us feel hot.” – Chavarria

Designer Willy Chavarria launches women’s underwear line, WILLY Underwear.

From cruising low riders in Paris to advocating for LGBTQIA+ rights on the runway, Chavarria hasn’t taken a single day off this year. His latest announcement, WILLY Underwear, continues his mission of uplifting underrepresented communities “through the transformative power of art and design,” the press release states.

Crafted in Peru with Pima cotton, known for its unusually soft and luxurious feel, WILLY Underwear is an “everyday underwear line for everyone,” regardless of gender and expression. The collection features a range of “briefs and tank tops that blend comfort, sensuality and inclusivity.”

“Underwear is our most intimate clothing,” says Chavarria. “I like it to feel good — and make us feel hot.” Lensed by photographers Marco Ovando and Diego Bendezu, the visually striking campaign marks the expansion of the brand to include all identities. In a bold, 70s-style photoshoot, men and women don Chavarria’s newest silhouettes and evoke seductive power poses. The launch follows the American designer’s recent distressed underwear release.

This time, the drop includes everyday essentials made for everyone.
