Lorde Teases 'Virgin' B-Side

This is *not* a drill.

Just a week after releasing her highly anticipated album Virgin, Lorde reveals there may be more to come.

Every four years, Lorde blesses her fans with a new project. Following her New York City meet and greet, where she simultaneously released “What Was That,” it was clear an album was next. The album, Virgin, was released on June 27 via Republic Records.

Since its release — and frankly, before – Virgin has birthed TikTok trends and now a potential B-side. For those unfamiliar, B-sides are the flip-side, or songs that don’t make the final album cut. On Lorde’s Twitter account, she shared: “We cut a song last minute because I thought it diluted the vision. Couple really good B sides knocking around actually.” Unfortunately, she hasn’t teased any more details on the potential continuation of the project.

Since the album announcement, “Lorde Virgin vinyl” became a breakout search on Google Trends signifying her four year hiatus didn’t slow down interest. “What Was That” YouTube comments also reflect a fanbase that was eager for Virgin. ”And when the world needed her most, she returned,” a fan commented.

And she’s set to deliver again.

Stay tuned for updates.
