Charles Melton Pares It Back for Coach's New Soho Sneaker Campaign

All the way back…

Actor and global ambassador Charles Melton is turning up the heat in his new Coach campaign. Marking the next chapter of the brand’s Soho sneaker, Melton appears in the new “Not Just For Walking” campaign, channelling old-school Hollywood thrillers.

Celebrating the Soho’s versatility, the new film encourages self-expression and confidence, underpinning Coach’s “Courage to Be Real” platform. Directed by award-winning filmmaker Alma Har’el, known for Honey Boy and Lady in the Lake, the film was created in collaboration with Melton and sees him utilizing the Soho as a distraction to help him through a tricky situation.

The shoe first launched in April this year and has since been showcased by singers, models and athletes like Audrey Nuna, Giovanna Ramos and Toni Breidinger. Taking inspiration from the cross-training kicks of the late ’80s and ’90s, the new sneaker made its debut on the runway at Coach’s Spring 2025 show.

In other footwear news, ASICS and Cecilie Bahnsen just dropped a new collab.
