Charli XCX Is Proving Korean Skincare Is Brat

The star headlined Oya Festival with skin prepped by Beauty of Joseon.

Even Charli XCX understands the importance of a good base. While headlining Oya Festival in Oslo, Norway, the Brat singer prepped her skin with a full face of products from Beauty of Joseon. The cult-favorite skincare brand has roots in traditional Korean medicine and is known for delivering that glow-from-within look with the help of natural ingredients.

When it comes to prepping for makeup, Beauty of Joseon’s lightweight formulas ensure Charli’s skin is properly moisturized without weighing it down. Not to mention, nutrient-rich ingredients like niacinamide work overtime to calm stressed skin while simultaneously reducing texture. Before applying the singer’s signature grungy glam, her makeup artist Yasmin Istanbouli relied on four of Beauty of Joseon’s products to complete her skincare routine.

First, Charli wore the K-beauty brand’s Centella Asiatica Calming Mask to soothe and hydrate her skin. To get rid of the party girl’s dark circles, the Revive Eye Serum was applied under her eyes. Next, in order to give her complexion an extra boost, the viral Glow Serum was applied all over her face. Lastly, the star’s base was completed with the new Day Dew Sunscreen — which promises to protect from harmful UV rays with SPF 50, while also seamlessly melting in and leaving you with that glass skin look.
