Melissa Steps Into the Sneaker Scene With Latest Launch Melissa X

Introducing the Icon, Rush and Beat sneaker silhouettes, the Brazilian brand breaks into a new market.

Known for its cult-favorite jelly sandals, Melissa Possesion jelly sandals, Brazilian brand Melissa is venturing into the sneaker scene with its new line, Melissa X. Bringing its boundary-pushing principles and playful design DNA to the capsule collection, Melissa introduces the Icon, Rush and Beat sneaker silhouettes.

Blending streetwear-inspired style with the brand’s signature, high-gloss, Melflex ™ PVC and other transformative technology, the trio stays true to the Melissa aesthetic while weaving in extra edge. Statement-making sculptural silhouettes, the Icon, Rush and Beat sneakers pack a punch with every step, from striking colorways to sleek shapes. Arriving as a future-forward silhouette, the Icon has a chunky outsole offset by a sleek, minimalist upper. With the Icon, Melissa introduces new, innovative technology,  the Melbubble, which ensures cozy cushioning and originality with the translucent, 100% air sole. Choose from the soft silhouette’s bold black palette or multicolor mix to feel just as iconic as the shoe.

For an athletic flair, the Rush strikes a balance between sports-derived designs and a luxe aesthetic, featuring a voluminous sole and standout colorways in  pretty pastel pink to an understated bold beige. Rounding out Melissa’s sneaker range is the Beat silhouette, where comfort meets cool — a versatile shoe that transitions from day to night. With four colorways to choose from, the Beat is here to elevate your step.
