Rains Steps Into Footwear With Its Debut Rain Boot Launch

Keeping our feet dry for the first time ever.

Rainy days just got a lot more chic. Danish brand Rains is changing the way we dress on grey days, expanding its signature sleek, waterproof design universe into footwear for the very first time with two silhouettes: The Dry Boot and Mirage.

Moving far beyond traditional, clunky rubber boots, this collection delivers sculptural minimalism tailored for modern urban living. Designed alongside footwear creator Martin Sallières, the anatomical shapes are crafted specifically for all-day wearability, whether you’re commuting, biking or walking through puddles on the way to the coffee shop. Engineered with cushioned interiors and distinctive outsoles inspired by New York’s gridded layout, they are the perfect finishing touch to stay stylish on both wet and dry streets.

After years of revolutionizing waterproof designs that span outerwear, everyday garments and carryalls, footwear naturally completes the Rains wardrobe. To celebrate, select flagship stores are hosting interactive installations featuring larger-than-life Dry Boot sculptures where visitors can write down local city recommendations to create a crowdsourced guide to the city.

The Dry Boot and Mirage are available to purchase now on the Rains website and select retailers.

In other news, Story mfg. and P.F Flyers launched an artisanal high-top sneaker collab.
