Autry and Maison MIHARA YASUHIRO Drop The General Scale Sneakers

Available in three deconstructed colorways.

After turning heads on the runway at Maison MIHARA YASUHIRO’s Fall/Winter 2025 show during Paris Fashion Week, Autry and Maison MIHARA YASUHIRO’s General Scale sneakers are making their global debut. Part of the “Broken Something” capsule, the collaboration bridges Eastern and Western design, blending AUTRY’s retro Americana DNA with Yasuhiro’s Japanese avant-garde craftsmanship.

Now ready to hit the streets, the collection was officially launched at Tokyo Fashion Week. Reimagining Autry’s Medalist silhouette, the design remains true to the original with its upper, while a clay-modelled mid and outsole add new texture and depth. Available in black, white, and a two-tone option, each pair is finished with a handcrafted treatment that enhances its worn-in, artisanal aesthetic. The simple design subverts trends and lends itself to any wardrobe.

The launch is celebrated with an immersive, AI-generated campaign that evokes a surreal and exposed dreamscape. The fractured landscape with floating rocks creates an artistic result and positions the shoe as wearable art. Embracing imperfection, the raw backdrop echoes the capsule’s deconstructed nature and focuses solely on the shoe.

“Autry’s design is timeless and goes against the grain, rejecting the trend-driven approach that dominates today’s fashion industry. I wanted everyone to understand this metaphor by including this co-branded sneaker design on my runway,” Mihara Yasuhiro shared in the press release. Roberta Benaglia, President of Autry, added, “Collaborating with Mihara Yasuhiro allowed us to explore new creative dimensions while remaining true to our identity.”

The shoes are now available via the Autry and Maison MIHARA YASUHIRO websites, alongside flagship stores.

In other news, these are the coolest shows from Seoul Fashion Week SS26.
