Converse Reinvents the Chuck Taylor All Star For 2026
Three new versions of a footwear icon.
The Chuck Taylor All Star is one of the most iconic sneakers in the world, standing the test of time for over 100 years. For 2026, Converse is shaking things up with three updated silhouettes releasing over the course of the year. From sleek, low-profile sneakers to platform pairs, this trio is defining footwear for the year. All Stars have never looked this good.
The first pair is a more a re-edition than a reinvention, with Converse releasing a retro-inspired Chuck Taylor All Star Throwback. Designed to be reminiscent of ’90s street style and vintage Chucks, the simple, black and white sneaker features a chunky sole and thick, white laces.
The Chuck Taylor Lo is a slim profile, refined sneaker with an understated design. Aligned with the current sleek trends in footwear, this is one release that is certain to be a hit this year. On the opposite side of the spectrum, the upcoming Run Star Crush is a bold, sculptural platform sneaker. A shiny, cracked leather upper sits atop an exaggerated sole for an eye-catching, fashion-forward look.
The newest Chuck Taylor designs will be released throughout the year, with the first pair dropping this spring on the Converse website and select retailers.
In other news, UGG just released a new Lowmel sneaker collection.
