These Are the Fashion Stylists Behind Your Favorite Music Artists

From Chappell Roan’s Genesis Webb to Olivia Dean’s Simone Beyene.

Behind every great musician is a great stylist. Stage presence and star power don’t stop at vocals and choreography; the clothes carry the music, too. From Beyoncé’s glittering bodysuits to The 1975‘s skinny ties and Sabrina Carpenter’s on-stage outfit changes, fashion is inseparable from performance.

But it doesn’t end on stage. Every red carpet appearance, off-duty sighting or low-key dinner date is carefully considered, with stylists working behind the scenes to shape an artist’s visual identity. A musician’s wardrobe can communicate personality, relatability and intent, and when done right, it becomes part of the music itself.

Take Olivia Dean’s meteoric rise. Alongside her growing success came a subtle yet strategic wardrobe shift. Where she once leaned into grungier silhouettes with denim and independent labels, Dean began stepping out in ethereal gowns and flowing, floor-length designer looks. The evolution, perhaps unnoticed by casual observers, mirrored her soft stage presence and soulful sound so seamlessly that it quickly became her signature. As fans online put it: “Her stylist really loves her.”

Ahead, we spotlight the stylists shaping today’s artists’ aesthetics, and the duos you need on your radar.

Dara Allen

Stylists, artists, musicians, singers, celebrity, addison rae, dara allen, awards show, red carpet Dara Allen is a prominent fashion editor and stylist, partly responsible for Addison Rae’s incredible rebrand that includes all her playful Y2K-inspired looks. Cast your mind back to just a few years ago, when Rae was dancing on TikTok in leggings and giving that girl-next-door energy. Today, Rae is giving ultimate pop princess with her Britney Spears-inspired low-rise shorts, messy blonde hair and plenty of sparkles and attitude.

Simone Beyene

Stylists, artists, musicians, singers, celebrity, addison rae, dara allen, awards show, red carpet Simone Beyene is the genius behind the aforementioned Olivia Dean rebrand. From edgy Chopova Lowena mini skirts to elegant Versace gowns, Dean went from London girl to global superstar. Born and raised in Stockholm by a Swedish mother and Ethiopian father, Beyene studied at Central Saint Martins in London before beginning her career as a stylist. During her placement year, Beyene’s friend, singer Mabel, asked if she wanted to join the tour and help with styling. The stylist later met Dean and instantly clicked, working together ever since.

Molly Dickson

Stylists, artists, musicians, singers, celebrity, addison rae, dara allen, awards show, red carpet Molly Dickson is the celebrity stylist. You may not know her name, but you definitely know her work. Styling everyone from Bella Hadid to Kaia Gerber, she’s also made her name in music with Lana Del Rey. The ethereal, 60s-inspired outfits have given Del Rey a signature look that speaks to her fanbase and captures the essence of her delicate lyrics full of retro references. It’s hard to imagine the singer in anything else.

Jared Ellner

Stylists, artists, musicians, singers, celebrity, addison rae, dara allen, awards show, red carpet Jared Ellner is one of the youngest up-and-coming stylists in Hollywood. Ellner has a long-standing working relationship with Emma Chamberlain (they’re now also besties outside of styling), and more recently, he’s made a name for himself in the music industry, working with notable artists such as Sabrina Carpenter, Olivia Rodrigo, Camila Cabello, Phoebe Bridgers and SZA. Ellner’s work graces the pages of major publications while also holding up your favorite celebs on the red carpet. Remember that Sabrina Carpenter MET Gala look? We have Ellner to thank for that.

Sam Woolf

Stylists, artists, musicians, singers, celebrity, addison rae, dara allen, awards show, red carpet This list wouldn’t be complete without including Sam Woolf. Most recently, Woolf gained recognition for his work with Doechhi, receiving the Style Moment of the Year Award presented by Pandora at the British Fashion Awards, 2025. The Australian-born stylist made a splash at the MET Gala (not an easy feat among all the glamor) with his choice of a custom Louis Vuitton white and grey pinstripe look for Doechii. Woolf has also worked with the rapper on her looks for Glastonbury and the Grammys (remember that Thom Browne look), mastering the art of narrative through clothing.

Genesis Webb

Stylists, artists, musicians, singers, celebrity, addison rae, dara allen, awards show, red carpet Genesis Webb became somewhat Tumblr famous at 14, later started selling thrifted clothes and then launched a jewelry brand, all before her styling career. It wasn’t until she decided to move to Los Angeles just before the pandemic and found herself out of money and alone that she had no choice but to pivot. With a diverse fashion background and distinct taste, Webb began her styling journey and shortly after met Chappell Roan. The pair connected over a shared love for thrifting and their Midwestern roots, and now they share the ultra-glam drag-inspired looks that Roan is known for.

Alizé Demange

Stylists, artists, musicians, singers, celebrity, addison rae, dara allen, awards show, red carpet London-based Alizé Demange is styling a hot roster of musicians, including award-winning artists Mahalia, Cleo Sol and Jorja Smith. Demange has previously shared that her hometown is what inspires her work, putting London culture and influences at the heart of her looks. Streetstyle, baggy silhouettes and plenty of fun, Alizé Demange is a true Londoner.

Lorenzo Posocco

Stylists, artists, musicians, singers, celebrity, addison rae, dara allen, awards show, red carpet Lorenzo Posocco is no secret; the Italian celebrity stylist has had a long-time career working with A-listers and truly understands the importance of narrative when it comes to musicians. Obsessed with Dua Lipa currently? Posocco is most likely the brains behind the gorgeous outfit you’re drooling over. Working together for years now, crafting both her on-tour and public appearance fits, Posocco took Dua Lipa from pop star to all-around superstar.
